From August 14 to 16, 2026, the 16th Annual Sleep Medicine Academic Conference was held in Jinan, Shandong Province, under the theme "Digital Intelligence Empowerment: Strengthening the Multidisciplinary Diagnostic and Treatment System for Sleep Comorbidities." The event attracted over 1,000 registered participants, setting a new record. Apon Medical (Stock Code: 300753.SZ) and its subsidiary Shanghai Nasaolcleanor attended the conference with a multi-brand portfolio, engaging in in-depth discussions with clinical experts around the OSA full-link solution covering "screening – monitoring – diagnosis – treatment" and the "light therapy" concept. The following are the key highlights of the conference:

I. Multidisciplinary Collaboration Reaches Consensus, Guidelines Clarify New Diagnostic and Treatment System
The conference emphasized the need for multidisciplinary collaboration in sleep medicine. The Consensus on Comprehensive Sequential Diagnosis and Treatment of Adult Obstructive Sleep Apnea (2025) was interpreted during the meeting. For the first time, it establishes a closed-loop system of "comprehensive sequential diagnosis and treatment," with "layered screening and stepwise precision" as the diagnostic logic and "chronic disease management + individualized precision treatment" as the therapeutic core.
II. Fixed Snore Stopper Confirmed as First-Line Therapy with Clear Value in Postoperative Management
The consensus clearly defines Fixed Snore Stopper (such as mandibular advancement devices, MAD) as a first-line treatment option, with patient compliance reaching 95% for adjustable appliances. Furthermore, the value of Fixed Snore Stopper in postoperative residual OSA supplementation and long-term management was confirmed. A case study demonstrated that after wearing the appliance, AHI decreased from 28.8 to 1.5 events/h, and oxygen saturation increased from 71.7% to 93.7%.
III. AI Snore Monitoring and Portable Devices Enable Home-Based Efficacy Titration
The conference elevated portable sleep monitoring devices from "initial screening tools" to "efficacy assessment and titration tools." The Cicada Sleep APP, which requires no additional hardware, allows patients to monitor snoring patterns overnight after each adjustment of the Fixed Snore Stopper, enabling home-based, continuous, objective, and low-cost individualized titration.
IV. Apon Covers the Full OSA Pathway and Expands into Comprehensive Sleep Health Management
Apon showcased the Cicada Sleep APP, portable sleep monitoring device, and Noosahs Fixed Snore Stopper, covering the "self-screening – initial screening – treatment" continuum. Additionally, the company presented products including Exhaled Nitric Oxide Detector, Transcutaneous Vagal Nerve Stimulation(t-VNS), and an insomnia management service package based on brain-computer interface technology, addressing airway inflammation, tinnitus, insomnia, and other areas, establishing a diversified layout extending from in-hospital care to home-based management.
