On August 21, 2026, the Chinese Medical Association's 2026 Rhinology Academic Conference opened in Shanghai, bringing together over a thousand rhinology specialists to engage in in-depth discussions on chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, endoscopic techniques, biologics, and other cutting-edge topics.

Han from the United States delivered keynote presentations on biologics-driven therapeutic paradigm shifts, inflammatory endotype identification, and breakthroughs in long-term management. Nitric oxide (NO), as a key biomarker of airway inflammation, continues to gain value in differential diagnosis and efficacy follow-up.

Standardized postoperative nasal irrigation following FESS has been proven to effectively promote mucosal epithelialization, reduce crust formation, and lower bleeding risk.
